| Why I RideHeidi lives in Topanga Canyon, California, where she is the Art Director of the Los Angeles Times Sunday Magazine. Heidi first began riding bikes out of necessity: she commuted to work from Chinatown to Times Square in Manhattan. She often rode 6th Ave and rubbed elbows with bike messengers on her way to work. She was also mistaken for FedEx or a delivery person by the reception desk many a time at her midtown office. This year Heidi will be racing the Women's XC 40-49 division where she is the 2007 defending California State Series Champion.
She will also be helping Sho-Air/Sonance club rider Mario Correa to defend his 24 Hour Co-Ed National Title come July.
